Mitragyna Hirsuta commonly known as “Kra Thum Khok” in its native regions of Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. It has close relations to Kratom scientifically called Mitragyna speciosa because they share the same genus name. Both these plants have a similar paradoxical effect and cause sedative vibes in the user. The plant is tall and frequently found in the native areas. The leaves are chewed for the highest medicinal properties and sometimes they are combined with other herbs such as betel nuts (Areca catechu) and boiled in hot water to be used as the tea.
The plant is enriched with alkaloids which make it potent, and the most powerful constituent of it is Mitraphylline which is chemically similar to mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine as found abundantly in Mitragyna speciosa.
Kratom is legal in many states of the US, and Canada however; people are dubious about its legality. This is the reason why they are searching for a good Kratom alternative which is not just legal but equally potent. Luckily, Mitragyna Javanica discovered as a useful replacement, but it is not as powerful as Kratom.
